Doctors

Dr. Richard D. “Darren” Allinson received his DDS degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Northeast Missouri State University now Truman State University. He is a member of the International Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Allinson is certified in Perio Protect. He and his wife, Alice have three children, Samantha, Paige and Trevor and resides in Kirksville. Dr. Allinson enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Dr. Richard L. “Rick” Gooch III is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. He is active in the Missouri Primary Care Association and is a consulant for the Oral Health Network of Missouri. Dr. Gooch is certified to provide Perio Protect to his patients. He resides in Kirksville with his wife Janet and their three children; Olivia, Ethan and Andrew. Dr. Gooch enjoys hunting, skiing and flying in his spare time.

Dr. Tisha R. Kice-Briggs graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with two degrees, a bachelors of Arts in Biology and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She is a member and past president of the Northeast Dental Society, the Missouri Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the International Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Kice-Briggs is certified inPerio Protect. Dr. Kice-Briggs resides in Kirksville with her husband David and twins, Isaac and Adrian. Her hobbies include skiing, photography, running and traveling.

Hygiene Staff

Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We do our utmost to create the cleanest and safest environment for our patients and ourselves. We want you to enjoy coming to see us and we will do everything to provide you with exceptional preventative care and personalized service. All of our dental hygienists are graduates of an accredited two year dental hygiene curriculum specializing in clinical and educational preventative care.

Dental Assistants

All of our dental assistants have completed various expanded function courses which enables them to deliver the best care available. They are specially trained in the latest techniques of modern dentistry and are able to assist you with any emergencies or concerns you may have. Our assistants are excited that they have been able to help patients to improve their overall health. The smiles our team have created and maintained give extra special meaning to the efforts of our entire staff.

Scheduling and Treatment Coordinators

The main goal of our Scheduling and Treatment Coordinators is to provide helpful and friendly service to every patient. Each of our ladies work hard to make sure that your trip to and experiences at KDG are timely, organized, and scheduled around your agenda. They make certain that you are aware of upcoming appointments and schedule new appointments. Our Treatment Coordinator, Pam, works exclusively on dental insurance claims, making every effort to maximize your insurance benefits. If ever you have a question regarding your dental work or your appointments, our Scheduling Coordinators will field your phone call and answer and address any questions you have or concerns.
